About

Dawson Andrews is an emerging street photographer and visual artist based in Central/Western New York. Interested in liminal spaces, His digital photographs question the romanticization of nostalgia, location, and time. For example, his recent travel to Oaxaca, Mexico, led to an extensive portfolio highlighting these concepts as a study of the unfamiliar. Andrews received his BFA in Fine Art Photography from Cazenovia College in 2022. His work has been included in the Deacon Gallery, Cazenovia; Reisman Gallery, Cazenovia; and Mcdonald’s Gallery, Cazenovia. His photographs are found in private collections.
